Brand new band from Manchester for you to check out. Great 60's vibe going on here with tight, intricate guitar and excellent melodies. If pushed to name a reference, perhaps a Mancunian version of the indie pop sensibilities of Pete and the Pirates or Tap Tap.
Very early days, but bags of promise and another two tracks "Statues" and "Sleeping with the Lights On" now available for free download. http://thedelaplains.bandcamp.com/

"That Doll (You Got for Christmas)" included on Bands 4 Barnados 2012 EP, alongside Jessie Rose, Danny Mahon and The Quangos for a measly £2.00 with all proceeds going directly to Barnardo's 'The Curve' service in Hulme.
