Wolfcrusher - No Chance video

This is just one of those things that's absolutely brilliant on so many levels and the more people that see and hear it the better basically.

Musically, brilliant metal from a fantastic Manchester outfit and that solo is just the dogs bollocks.  The footage is also amazing, wonderfully constructed, powerful and exceptionally moving.

Cosmo Jarvis - The Night and Day Cafe - Manchester

Mudkiss review of Cosmo Jarvis live at the Night and Day Cafe in Manchester on Tuesday night.  One of those evenings which leaves you slightly bewildered and creates more questions than it answers.

Doyle and the Fourfathers

After catching these guys play a storming set at the Rochdale Feelgood Festival, here's their new video, a track which was definitely a  highlight from that gig.

Also, very aptly titled I'd suggest in the current economic climate.

And just in case you missed the review and interview with William first time around.

Mudkiss September 2011 album of the month, although it could as easily be 1973.

I love the new Opeth album, although that may be because it transports me back to my youth, so will it appeal across the metal board?

Patrick Kelleher and his Cold Dead Hands

Came across this on Soundcloud, free download from Patrick Kelleher and his Cold Dead Hands.  It's a great slice of 80's influenced synth pop taken from forthcoming album "Golden Syrup."  One for those who still hold a hint of nostalgia for an interesting musical decade that just doesn't seem to want to go away.
